Multilingualism preservation: rights, cultural education, media, new technologies. The theme of the conference conceived by dr. Massimiliano Verde, President of the Neapolitan Academy and organized in collaboration with the Council of the Naples Bar Association as well as the “Alfredo De Marsico” Library of Castel Capuano, is multilingualism as a principle and value protected by international law. On the occasion of the 2022 International day of the Mother language, we introduce the case of the Neapolitan language as a vulnerable language. The conference enjoys the moral patronage of the Consulate of the Republic of Nicaragua, competent for the Campania Region.

The Accademia Napoletana presided by dr. Massimiliano Verde met the scholars of State Institute of Higher Education for the Blind "Paolo Colosimo" on the theme "O Nnapulitano, a treasure to defend and promote, for young people and not only". The meeting with students of the third, fourth, and fifth grades was about multilingualism, and the defense of cultural rights as civil rights, more widely human with a focus on the Neapolitan mother tongue in Italy.

The main aim of our event is making a set of theatrical performances based on different folk tales with the help of “shadow play” technology, as well as a set of workshops for the children participating in the performances.

En el marco del Decenio Internacional de las Lenguas Indígenas dispuesto por la ONU para el período 2022-2032, la muestra Voces y sentidos propone conectar con estas lenguas y con el conocimiento que ellas condensan, a través de sus relatos, su arte y sus juegos. A través de la percepción sonora de relatos orales, obras de artistas plásticos sobre interpretaciones libres de esos relatos, espacio de juegos, una selección de libros sobre la temática, proyección de cortometrajes y acciones participativas, la muestra invita a sumergirse, reflexionar y promover el valor de las lenguas indígenas de manera interactiva, lúdica y también contemplativa.

Museum Resource Center of Noyabrsk hosted the “MOKH” Exhibition within the first interregional competition-exhibition of academic painting “Living Hue”.

The youth session is designed to involve active youth representatives aged 18 to 35 from municipal districts in the Republic of Karelia in solving issues of ethnocultural development of the indigenous peoples of the republic, forming project teams ready to offer new solutions in this area.

This panel will focus on the localization, adaptation and operationalization of the Global Action Plan and the necessary measures to be taken by all stakeholders to make sure that this global framework has an impact at the regional, national, and local levels, and importantly, on lives of indigenous peoples all over the world. The session will provide for exchanges about concrete measures and actions planned or taken by stakeholders to promote the use of indigenous languages in public life. Examples and good practices on how the Global Action Plan of the International Decade of Indigenous Languages can be integrated into strategic and policy national and organizational plans taking a human-rights based approach will be explored. Furthermore, the participants will also reflect on the ways UN indigenous mechanisms such as the Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples could be involved and support the ongoing implementation of the Global Action Plan. Objectives: The panel discussion aims: • To provide an overview of the Global Action Plan, including its essential principles, conceptual, implementation, and monitoring frameworks, as well as the governance structures of the International Decade. • To identify strategies for the localization, adaptation and operationalization of the Global Action Plan of the International Decade of Indigenous Languages with a full spectrum of human rights, legal status for language recognition, and greater daily use of indigenous languages across all socio-cultural, economic, environmental, legal and political domains • To share good practices and successful initiatives implemented by various stakeholders, including governments, indigenous peoples, civil society, academia and United Nations system entities as well as the UN indigenous mechanisms to implement the Global Action Plan with a human rights-based approach. • To discuss necessary measures to be taken by national governments and indigenous peoples’ organizations to maximise impact, including through the support of the United Nations system and UN indigenous mechanisms, in the implementation of those measures, in line with the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and other strategic documents such as the Global Action Plan of the International Decade of Indigenous Languages.

Ryazan Regional Universal Scientific Library named after Gorky, the Interregional Festival of the National Book "Reading world". The festival events are aimed at promoting books, national literatures and languages, strengthening civil unity, assisting in the harmonization of interethnic and interfaith relations, affirming the prestige of reading, strengthening interregional cooperation in the field of publishing and distributing literature, creating a positive image of the Ryazan region and its publishing activities. At the book fair, publishing houses, publishing institutions and organizations will be presented. Festival events include literary festivals, competitions, presentations of new books and magazines, performances by writers and creative teams and much more.
