An expert on the Khanty language and culture, Ivan Sandrin spoke about the "Khanty Mons" comics he created in the Khanty language and shared his plans to make an animated movie.

As part of the program of the "Russian Nort" forum of youth of the indigenous peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East of the Russian Federation, Ivan Sandrin, a language activist from Shuryshkarsky district, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, shared the history of the creation of the cultural and educational audio project "Tales of the Khanty people" and the "Khanty Mons" collection of cartoons. He twice received financial support for the implementation of the projects through participation in grant competitions of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.

2022 is the Year of the Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia and the first year of the International Decade of Indigenous Languages.
The forum is a universal platform for constructive interaction between young people, the search for new approaches to preserve identity, language, culture, traditional way of life, the development of new competencies and the generation of new ideas.
The Russian North. The youth has developed and proposed for implementation a number of projects that will promote the languages and original culture of the indigenous peoples of the North.
One of these projects was the "Booklet of Friendship" in the format of a phrase book in four languages: Russian, Nenets, Khanty, and Selkup. The booklet includes QR-codes with colloquial phrases and words in native languages. Such phrases can become useful when pointing the camera of a mobile device at them when conducting a dialogue with representatives of different nations.
HIGA is the Summit of Young Speakers of Minoritized Languages and aims to create a network of young language revitalizers from all over the world, after four days of activities in the Basque Country. The fourth edition will be held in July 2023 and the registration is already open.

В апреле 2022 г. в Глазовском государственном педагогическом институте прошел межрегиональный фестиваль фольклорного творчества «Зарни тöл». Студенты вуза представили традиции русского, удмуртского, бесермянского, татарского, марийского, цыганского народов. Зрители услышали стихи, песни, насладились игрой на народных инструментах. Общее количество участников 600 человек.
Площадки диктанта были открыты во всех городах и районах республики. «Тотальный диктант» написали более 2500 жителей Удмуртии, «Большой удмуртский диктант более 2300 человек, Большой этнографический диктант написали 41 110 человек.
Торжественное чествование лауреатов II Региональной премии за достижения в области татарской культуры и искусства. Премия отметила людей, внесших огромный вклад в сохранение и развитие татарской культуры, традиций и обычаев, родного языка на территории Омской области. Всего на Премию поступило 15 заявок из Тарского, Тевризского, Колосовского районов и города Омска.
Круглый стол посвящен актуальным вопросам сохранения исторического наследия татар, популяризации татарского краеведческого движения, выявления наиболее интересных и глубоких исследований по истории населенных пунктов, слобод, татарской традиционной культуры на территории Омской области, людей, внесших значимый вклад в развитие экономики, культуры и общественной жизни региона, а также вопросам изучения и составления родословных.
В программе круглого стола примут участие ученые, краеведы и общественные деятели, представители общественных организаций и средств массовой информации г. Омска и муниципальных районов Омской области (в т.ч. населенных пунктов компактного проживания татар).
Основной целью Регионального конкурса генеалогических исследований «Минем шәҗәрә» («Моя родословная») является возрождение традиций семейных родословий, содействие и поддержка семейных ценностей.
Всего на конкурс было направлено 50 заявок из города Омска, Большереченского, Тарского, Тевризского, Усть-Ишимского, Оконешниковского, Тюкалинского районов Омской области и Республики Татарстан.
7 декабря 2022 года в Центральной научной библиотеке Омского научного центра Сибирского отделения Российской академии наук были подведены итоги Регионального конкурса на лучшую краеведческую работу «Туган илем» («Родной край»).
Данный конкурс является одним из действенных механизмов консолидации татарского краеведческого движения, а также выявления наиболее интересных и глубоких исследований по истории населенных пунктов, слобод, татарской традиционной культуре на территории Омской области.
Всего на конкурс было направлено 50 заявок из города Омска, Большереченского, Тарского, Тевризского, Усть-Ишимского, Оконешниковского, Тюкалинского районов Омской области и Республики Татарстан.

O Grupo de Trabalho Nacional para a Década Internacional das Línguas Indígenas, 33 povos indígenas, lideranças, anciãos, especialistas, linguistas, além de instituições apoiadoras, parceiros, organizações indígenas, entidades governamentais e não governamentais reunidos no 2o Seminário Internacional Viva Língua Viva, organizado pela Universidade Federal do Pará, Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi e associação Brasileira de Linguística, realizado na cidade de Belém (PA) entre os dias 22 a 25 de novembro de 2022, reivindicam ações junto ao Ministério dos Povos Indígenas com base nas legislações vigentes que amparam e garantem a promoção das línguas indígenas.
