Cagayan Province Launching of 2019 International Year of Indigenous Languages cum Lecture Forum

The event is a launch of a year long celebration of Cagayan province in the Philippines of the International Year of Indigenous Languages this calendar year 2019. It will be a one day event comprised of a ceremonial launch of the international celebration, a lecture-forum on Indigenous Languages of the Philippines and of the province in particular and a planning workshop for a province-wide series of activities devoted for Indigenous Languages. Reputable resource speakers were invited and are sponsored by  the National Commission for Culture and the Arts and hosted by the Provincial Government of Cagayan. Participants targeted are teachers, cultural workers, government officials/ leaders, indigenous peoples and related organizations.
