Thanks to the project, more than 50 schoolchildren and students from the Komi Republic had the opportunity to try themselves in the literary path. For the first time, the University was organized in an on-site format. Classes were held in three creative laboratories: nonfiction, fiction writing and drama.
In addition to classes, creative meetings were held for the children. Poems by famous Komi poets were performed here, book novelties were presented, young writers presented their new artistic sketches and received recommendations from mentors on how to improve them.
In September, students of the Gymnasium of Arts under the Head of the Komi Republic named after Yu.A. Spiridonov took part in a creative meeting with Komi poet Alyona Shomysova and ethnoblogger Henrikh Nemchinov, graduates of the Summer University of previous years. They talked about how, at one time, studying on the project influenced their professional activities.
