On November 8, 2024, on the 148th anniversary of the birth of Stepan Erzyan, a flower-laying ceremony was held at the sculptor’s monument. The event was organized by the chairperson of the public organization "Ulyanovsk Regional Mordovian National-Cultural Autonomy" in collaboration with the Regional State Autonomous Institution "Institute for Education Development."

The event was attended by educators and students from educational institutions in the city of Ulyanovsk. The honorary guest of the event was Elena Alexandrovna Pokrova, Head of the Department for Interethnic and Interfaith Relations of the City of Ulyanovsk.
