В ноябре 2023 года в дистанционном формате состоялся региональный конкурс «Слово через призму родного языка». Конкурс был организован с целью привлечения внимания к родному языку как источнику понимания культурных традиций народа и основе национальной идентичности. Основная тема конкурса – происхождение названия города (села, поселка, деревни). В конкурсе участвовали 163 человека из 21 муниципального района Саратовской области.
