В этом году областная акция «Фольклорная радуга» прошла в третий раз. Участниками фольклорных встреч стали около тысячи читателей библиотек Жирновского, Котельниковского, Ленинского, Михайловского, Среднеахтубинского, Старополтавского районов, также Волгограда и Михайловки.

3 июня 2023 года состоялся 57-ой Всероссийский Пушкинский праздник поэзии. Он был приурочен к 224-ой годовщине рождения великого поэта, которая отмечается 6 июня.
Гостей праздника ждали экскурсии, литературный марафон, театрализованные представления, выставки работ акварелиста Сергея Алдушкина (Марий Эл) и художника-иллюстратора Дарьи Кайрамбаевой (Москва), выступления фольклорных ансамблей «Мурома» (Владимирская область) и «Горница» (Пенза), а также ансамбля гусляров (Марий Эл).
Мероприятия праздника прошли в роще «Лучинник», бывшей любимым местом прогулок поэта, и на территории усадебного парка родового имения Пушкиных.

Ежегодно в селе Напольное проходит традиционный весенний фестиваль детского мордовского творчества «Чипайне», что означает «Солнышко». Фестиваль собирает участников – носителей мордовской культуры и языка. Он продолжает сохранять и преумножать национальные традиции, обычаи и культуру мордовского народа. Здесь звучат песни и стихи на эрзянском языке, а также дети исполняют народные танцы и обряды в национальных костюмах.
