On June 20, 2023, an exhibition and a master class of decorative, applied and fine arts by the master of AAC (arts and crafts) Makalova Heda and her students “Magic with your own hands” dedicated to the Year of the Chechen Language was held on the territory of the Folk Art Center within the framework of the Pushkin Map program. Various exhibitions in different directions, attracting great attention of the audience and receiving a great emotional charge, have become a practice in the work of the Center. At this master class, the participants of the exhibition learned how to make unusual crafts in the technique of “Decoupage”.              Decoupage is a technique of decorating various surfaces with a paper application. The master revealed all the secrets of this technique – transferring a drawing from the thinnest paper to any surface. The exhibition also featured works made in the technique of stained glass painting on glass – panels, bottles, vases.       The main purpose of such events is to introduce the younger generation to the beautiful, to foster artistic taste, perseverance in achieving goals, and to identify their creative potential.
