E-learning resources on languages of Indigenous small-numbered peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East: achievments and perspectives.

The round table/seminar on E-learning resources in Indigenous languages was organized within the plan of the Russian Chairmanship in the Arctic Council.

The main discussion was about the development of digital (electronic) resources and their implementation into the educational process of teaching Indigenous languages.

Many projects such as “Children of the Arctic: pre-school education”, “Interactive Atlas of the Indigenous small-numbered peoples of Russia”, AYANA translator, pocket electronic translator and etc. were represented during the round table.

The round-table was organized by Russian Association of Indigenous peoples of the North with participation of the Institute of the Native languages and Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs. Financial support was provided by “Sakhalin Energy” company.
