Day of the Peoples of the Middle Urals 2023

On August 27, at 11:00, the Taganskaya Sloboda Family Recreation Park will open its gates to residents and guests of the city, inviting everyone to the holiday – the Day of the Peoples of the Middle Urals.

The Day of the Peoples of the Middle Urals is a traditional celebration of pride and recognition of all 160 nationalities living in the Sverdlovsk region, a holiday of folk art and national cultures, established by the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region in 2002. Every year, national cultural organizations celebrate this large-scale holiday with concerts, festivities and festivals, presenting to each other and the audience the peculiarities of their folk cultures and creativity.
This is a regional national project, which is traditionally celebrated only in one region of our country and is held annually under the patronage of the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region and the Ministry of Culture of the Sverdlovsk region. The main organizers of the regional holiday are the Association of National Cultural Associations of the Sverdlovsk Region and the Sverdlovsk State Regional Palace of Folk Art.

This event will be a worthy end to the summer, because it will bring together representatives of national farmsteads who will demonstrate the culture and way of life of different peoples, residents and guests of Yekaterinburg and the Sverdlovsk region. Representatives of the farmsteads will also present national dishes, traditional folk games and fun to the guests. Creative performances of representatives of different ethnic groups living in the territory of the Middle Urals will be presented on the stage,

The grand opening of the festival at 12.00 on the main stage of the park.
