Además del español, también hay idiomas indígenas oficiales para los pueblos indígenas, como el pemón, el warao, el guajiro, entre otros. Hay por lo menos 31 lenguas indígenas en Venezuela.

The United States Senate Committee on Indian Affairs on February 6th, passed S. 256, the Esther Martínez Native American Languages Program Reauthorization Act.
