Today the Republican festival of patriotic songs “Daimekhkan Turpalkho”, dedicated to the 72nd anniversary of the birth of the first President of the Chechen Republic, Hero of Russia Akhmat – Khadzhi Kadyrov as part of the Year of the Chechen Language. The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Chechen Republic and the State Budgetary Institution “Center of Folk Art”. The annual festival of patriotic songs is a tribute to the memory of a great man, a wise politician, a famous religious figure, who at a turning point in history did everything to stop the war forever, save the people, and begin the process of restoring peace and stability in the region. Folk art groups, vocal ensembles and individual performers took part in the festival. This event is special, demonstrating to the younger generation a respectful attitude towards the memory of the Great Son of the Chechen people, as well as forming in the minds of the younger generation feelings of devotion, duty and love for the Motherland, its history, culture, traditions. All participants of the Republican Festival of Patriotic Song “Daimekhkan Turpalkho” were awarded Festival Diplomas.
