REGULATIONS ON THE INTERNATIONAL CREATIVE COMPETITION

“This is my village, this is my motherland”

 General Provisions

2. • The international creative competition “This is my village, this is my motherland” (hereinafter – the Competition) is held by the municipal budgetary educational institution “Lyceum No.2 named after Academician K.A. Valiev in Mamadysh” under strategic partnership of the National Coordination Centre of the UNESCO Associated Schools Network in the Russian Federation.
   • The main purpose of the Competition is the opportunity for children from all over the world to show the sights of their motherland through creative work.
   • The theme of the Competition is “This is my village, this is my motherland”.
   • The goals, objectives, conditions and requirements of the Competition are supplemented by the Regulations for Competitive Events.
3. Goals and objectives

2.1 Formation of global citizenship, patriotic consciousness, education and development of awareness of the need to preserve cultural, historical and natural heritage;

2.2 Education of patriotism and pride for the small motherland;

2.3 Identification and support of gifted and talented children;

2.4 Promotion of the development of the intellectual and creative potential of the child’s personality;

2.5 Education of the love for creativity, beauty, art, initiation of children to cultural values, education of artistic and aesthetic relation to art;

2.6 Stimulation of the cognitive interests of the child, the development of artistic and visual abilities;

2.7 Promotion of professional development of teachers of institutions of all types, developing children of preschool and school age; identification of creatively working teachers and creation of conditions for their self-realization.

2.8 Provision of opportunity to compete on a scale that goes beyond the institution and the region via a distance competition.

3. Terms and stages of the Contest

3.1 Submission period: 15.10.2022 – 15.11.2022

3.2 Application processing and summarizing: 16.11.2022 – 10.12.2022.

3.3 Publication of results and distribution of award materials:11.12.2022 – 31.12.2022

4. Contestants

4.1 Students of preschool institutions of all types;

4.2 Students of 1-11 grades of educational institutions of all types (schools, lyceums, gymnasiums);

4.3 Students of universities, colleges, specialized schools, etc.;

5. Procedure and conditions of participation in the Conference

5.1. Drawings and photographs of the village, rural streets and other types of countryside are accepted for the competition.

5.2 Participants must fill out the form to participate in the Competition via a link https://forms.gle/SFgm3EMnbpQ9mwzG9 .

5.3 Works, submitted later than the specified deadline, received by e-mail or in printed form, are not allowed for the Competition.

5.4 A participant has the right to participate only in one nomination. Only one work must be submitted. The name of the file must contain last name and first name of the participant.

5.5 Participant must send his/her work in * .jpg format. The file size must not exceed 3 MB.

5.6 The participant is liable for compliance with copyright as well as intellectual property of the work.

5.7 Submission of an application by the author means his agreement with the terms of the Competition set forth in the Regulations on the Competition.

5.8 By submitting an application for participation in the Competition, the participant agrees to the processing of personal data, which does not contradict the legislation of the Russian Federation.

5.9 The following works are not allowed to participate in the Competition:

• with violation of moral and ethical standards;
• with violation of copyright and current legislation;

6. Nominations

6.1 Drawing – creative works made in different techniques: collage, graphics, watercolor, gouache, pencil, etc.

6.2 Computer graphics – drawings in graphic editors.

6.3 Photography – interesting, unusual photographs corresponding to the subject.

6.4 There are 5 age categories in each nomination:

• pupils of preschool institutions
• pupils from 7 to 10 years old
• pupils from 11 to 16 years old
• pupils from 17 to 18 years old
• students

7. Criteria for the selection of competitive works:

7.1 Compliance with the declared nomination;

7.2 Interesting, extraordinary artistic images;

7.3 Originality of idea, fantasy;

7.4 Mastery of execution.

8. Results and award materials

8.1. The winners of the Competition will be determined on the basis of points, received from the jury.

8.2. Each participant will receive an electronic certificate confirming participation in the Competition.

8.3. The winners of the Competition will receive personal diplomas in electronic form.

8.4 Diplomas in electronic form will be sent to the e-mail addresses, specified in the applications, within a month from the date of publication of the results of the competition.
