The online educational project of the Ossetian language complex “Æ-Test”

On 27 of December, the National Scientific Library hosted an award ceremony for the winners of the Æ-test project.

More than 3,500 people took part in the online test for knowledge of the Ossetian literary language in 2023. Some of the first 1000 people who successfully passed the test received “Æ-test” badges of honour – cast metal Ossetian letter “æ” in gold, silver or bronze depending on the test result and personal certificates to them. Oleg Kumallagov, Deputy Minister for National Policy and External Relations, presented the certificates and badges to the participants who scored 100 points.

The online educational project of the Ossetian language complex “Æ-Test” for knowledge of the Ossetian literary language was held for the fourth time this year and traditionally it was timed to coincide with the birthday of Kosta Khetagurov. By now more than 20 thousand people have already taken part in it, including representatives of various regions of the Russian Federation and foreign countries – Turkey, the USA, Western Europe and the CIS.

The project is being implemented by the NGO Iron Federation at the request of the Ministry of National Policy and External Relations as part of the North Ossetia-Alania state programme “National and Cultural Development of the Ossetian People”.
