Sinmehallash – Final

On December 20, 2024, the final round of the annual Republican festival-competition “Sinmehallash – 2024” between the creative teams of the Vedensky and Shatoi municipal districts of the Chechen Republic was held at the D. Omaev Palace of Celebrations. The event was organized by the State Budgetary Institution “Folk Art Center” with the participation of the A. Aydamirov National Library.

“Sinmehallash” is the most exciting and significant television project in the republic, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Chechen Republic in collaboration with the Chechen State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company “Grozny.” The project aims to identify, preserve, and promote the national cultural heritage of the Chechen people.

After both teams performed, the festival-competition results were announced:

• 1st place was awarded to the team from Vedensky district. The Deputy Chairperson of the Government of the Chechen Republic, Aishat Kadyrova, presented the winning team with a cash prize of 1 million rubles.
• 2nd place went to the team from Shatoi district. The Minister of Culture of the Chechen Republic, I.M-Kh. Ibragimov, awarded them a cash prize of 700,000 rubles.
• 3rd place was shared between the teams from Nozhai-Yurtovsky and Shali districts, who competed in the semi-finals. The Minister of Education and Science of the Chechen Republic, Kh-B. Daayev, and the Minister for National Policy, External Relations, Press, and Information, A.M. Dudayev, presented each team with a cash prize of 300,000 rubles.

In the foyer of the D. Omaev Palace of Celebrations, a vibrant and colorful exhibition of renowned masters of decorative, applied, and fine arts was unveiled, along with a book exhibition featuring publications from the Center for Scientific Research (2003–2020).
