The film was shot in the Khanty language with the use of folklore and  Russian subtitles. Eighteen adults also took part in the filming.

Filming took place in July 2021. Zinaida Longortova, the director,  chose picturesque places on the fishing sands of Vandiyazy, Shuryshkarsky District. The film’s operators are Valery Krylov and Artur Ryabintsev.

The museum of Yuri Neyelov, the first Governor of Yamal, hosted the premiere screening in Salekhard.
