Republican recitation contest among pupils of preschool educational organizations of preschool educational organizations in 2024

For the first time, this 2024, the Republic of Khakassia will host a republican competition of readers among pupils of preschool educational organizations, dedicated to the Day of the Khakass Language in the Republic of Khakassia. Pupils of preschool educational organizations of the Republic of Khakassia take part in the Competition on a voluntary basis. The competition is held in absentia from August 01 to August 30, 2024 in two age groups: from 4 to 5 years old; from 6 to 7 years old. The competition is aimed at popularizing the Khakass language, developing motivation among pupils of preschool educational organizations to study, expanding the use of the Khakass language, and introducing children to literary works in the Khakass language. The founder of the Competition is the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Khakassia. The organizer of the Competition is the State Budgetary Institution of Additional Education of the Republic of Khakassia “Republican Center for Additional Education” A total of 48 pre–school students took part in the competition.

This collaborative platform was established to enable the community of the International Decade of Indigenous Languages (IDIL 2022–2032) to share events, activities, and resources. The content published on the platform is the responsibility of registered users and does not commit the Secretariat of the Decade (UNESCO) and/or the Members of the Global Task Force for Making a Decade of Action for Indigenous Languages. Please note that the platform has been inactive since February 2025 and no longer accepts new uploads. While work is underway to provide an updated solution, the Secretariat of IDIL 2022–2032 remains available for any inquiries at: indigenous.languages@unesco.org.
