Ocean community day Celebrations conducted by Coastal Students Cultural Forum-CSCF in South India. The workshop mainly focuses on the mainstreaming of indigenous language of fishermen community in South India. The programme includes concerts,public meetings,debates,language plays,video screening,exhibition,story telling.On behalf of the celebration, the students are collecting indigenous words to publish an indigenous dictionary of fishermen’s language.

The UNESCO Office in San Jose will be launching its Regional Strategy and Action Plan for the Preservation of the Indigenous Languages in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador and Panama. This document reflects the recommendations compiled from several conferences and consultations held across Central America in 2019.

The National Conference is focused on initiating a conversation about the importance of protecting the indigenous languages and generating recomendations for the development of a national road map and action plan focused on the preservation, promotion of and use of the languages. The event will place emphasis on bilingual education, access to information, the use of technology. The importance of developing measures and policies which will encourage young people to take interest in learning the languages will be one of the key elements in these discussions.

Neste dia eles apresentarão, ao público aberto, a cultura deles, como danças, rituais e alimentação. Nossos estudantes levarão a "Gelateca" com a doação de livros realizada por eles. Além disso iniciaremos o processo de apoio junto a escola indígena no povoado para candidatura à REDE PEA-UNESCO.

The Online Publication of Finno-Ugric Language Activism Case Studies includes 22 case studies from Finno-Ugric regions of Russia, Estonia and Latvia. O Foundation (OFDN), an Indian nonprofit that is involved in the conservation and growth of marginalized groups using Openness and technology is establishing the Marginalized Community Council, an online working group consisting of individuals and organizations that are working towards addressing some of the most vital issues that affect the various marginalized groups—speakers of indigenous and endangered languages, and groups that are marginalized because of geopolitical and socioeconomic reasons.
