National holiday “Rosh Hashanah”

At the Omsk House of Friendship, the Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah) is celebrated in accordance with the Jewish calendar.

The holiday program includes a book and illustrative exhibition with materials about the decorative and applied arts of the Jewish people.

At the “Jewish Corner” photo zone you can take a unique photo both in the company of good friends and alone.

In the music room of the holiday, lovers of Jewish musical art are traditionally greeted by the head of the folk klezmer ensemble “Shalom” Pavel Okunev. He is a treasure trove of interesting stories about the musical instruments responsible for the characteristic and distinctive sound and performance of Jewish folk melodies.

The culmination of the Jewish holiday Rosh Hashanah is a festive concert program.

The holiday is held according to the program of the Regional Festival of National Cultures “Unity”.
