International educational action “Big Ethnographic dictation”

November 3, 2023 VIII International educational action “Big Ethnographic dictation”. The offline platform was organized in the Tsallagov tower complex in the village of Unal. 18 558 people took part in the VIII International Educational Action “Big Ethnographic Dictation”, including 150 people in the face-to-face format – teachers of the Department of Ossetian Language and Literature of SORIPKRO. The event made it possible to familiarize all participants with the culture of peoples living in Russia and assess the level of ethnographic literacy of the population, attracting the attention of the general public to the issues of interethnic peace and harmony. Among the participants of the ethnographic dictation were teachers of Zaporizhzhya region, who throughout the week exchanged experience with our specialists. The participants of the inclusive festival of national cultures “Алтын Майдан” (“Altyn Maidan”), held these days in Vladikavkaz, also visited Unala. The participants of the enlightenment campaign were interested in learning about the traditions of different nations. This is a real platform for cultural dialogue between representatives of Russian regions, which is only expanding every year: Karachay-Cherkessia, Tatarstan, Saratov region, Kalmykia, Udmurtia, etc.
