Festival of Tatar cuisine «Бабушкин рецепт»

On February 28 2023, the Sverdlovsk State Regional Palace of Folk Art will host the traditional Festival of Tatar cuisine “Бабушкин рецепт”, dedicated to the memory of the famous Tatar cook Yunus Akhmetzyanov.

As part of the culinary festival of traditional Tatar cuisine, competitions on cooking Tatar cuisine, exhibitions, presentations and tasting of dishes, master classes will be organized.

The Days of Tatar cuisine in the Sverdlovsk region were organized for the first time on the initiative of the Permanent Government of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Ural region in 2012. Since then, they have been successfully held with the active participation of secondary specialized educational institutions of the Sverdlovsk region and the Republic of Tatarstan.

The event is held within the framework of the implementation of the Cooperation Agreement between the Sverdlovsk Region and the Republic of Tatarstan.

The founders and organizers of the event are: Ministry of Culture of the Sverdlovsk region, Permanent Representation of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Sverdlovsk region, Regional Public Organization “Congress of Tatars (Tatars of the Urals) of the Sverdlovsk Region”, Свердловский  государственной областной  Дворец народного творчества.
