Celebrating Scotland Voices – Scotland House London

2019 is UNESCO’s year of indigenous languages, to celebrate Scotland House London will host an event  showcasing elements of Scottish culture to  London audiences may not be aware of through language and dialect.

The event will see young aspiring Scottish performers perform across a range of art forms, showcasing the different dialects and languages of Scotland.  The UK Commission of UNESCO will also address the event and provide the wider context behind the themed year and the importance of sustaining indigenous languages for future generations.
