Baybayin:Ang Halaga ng Pagkakakilanlan-Seminar Workshop.The activity was held at Camp Tinio National High School,Cabanatuan City,Philippines in support of the celebration of the International Year of Indigenous Languange 2019.It was actively participated by the Senior High School students,who were able to gain knowledge about the ancient script,Baybayin and a workshop on proper writing and reading of the script.Mr.Allan Torres Camba,candidate for MA in Anthropology and Archaelogy from Harvard University and having his research on Baybayin serves as the resource speaker.The school believes in the importance of indigenous language in developing one’s cultural identity and a tool in developing the nation.It is just the beginning of the continous effort of providing culture based quality education.The school administration fully supports such advocacy headed by Dr.Mary Jane Ipurong,Principal IV and Senior High School Assistant Principal,Dr.Abraham Ramos.

This collaborative platform was established to enable the community of the International Decade of Indigenous Languages (IDIL 2022–2032) to share events, activities, and resources. The content published on the platform is the responsibility of registered users and does not commit the Secretariat of the Decade (UNESCO) and/or the Members of the Global Task Force for Making a Decade of Action for Indigenous Languages. Please note that the platform has been inactive since February 2025 and no longer accepts new uploads. While work is underway to provide an updated solution, the Secretariat of IDIL 2022–2032 remains available for any inquiries at: indigenous.languages@unesco.org.
