African Languages Conference 2023

We are hosting the second edition of the African Languages Conference (AFLC2023) to mark African Languages Week (January 24-30) and promote the use and learning of African Indigenous languages.

Last year, the African Languages Conference 2022 was organized by Avishta Seeras of The Lingua-Cultura Experience and Ady Namaran Coulibaly of Bolingo Consult. The conference included 17 sessions which were delivered in over a dozen African indigenous languages by 26 speakers from 13 different nations. The sessions took place in two communities on Clubhouse, the Lingua-Cultura Experience and Africa Day. It was four days of connecting with language professionals, advocates and enthusiasts, and sharing and learning about African languages. The event gathered over 750 attendees.

African Languages Conference 2023 is being organised by Bolingo Consult, the Lingua-Cultura Experience and MasterWord. The event will be composed of three (3) panel discussions from 24 to 26 January 2022, 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. GMT each day.
