«Расскажи мне о семье»

As part of the Year of the Family, employees of the Gorky Library introduced students of school No. 36 to the family traditions of the peoples of the Russian Federation. During the lesson, schoolchildren were introduced to the cultural traditions and customs of the nationalities that historically lived on Ryazan land. The children learned about the tradition of the national Tatar holiday Sabantuy, where important elements are folk and sports games, songs, dances, and national cuisine. No less interesting was the librarians’ story about Mordovian holidays, in which the whole family takes part for the most part.
