video-es | The Best Forgotten Secret / El secreto mejor perdido

Presentation language: Spanish with English & French subtitles

Description:
"The Best Forgotten Secret" explores a new perspective on the history, mythology, and art of the Indigenous peoples of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. During this presentation, researcher Roberto Pérez Reyes helps us uncover the languages that reveal how scientifically advanced the pre-Columbian Indo-Antillean peoples were.

About Roberto Pérez Reyes:
Roberto Pérez Reyes holds a degree in Social Sciences with a concentration in Ibero-American Studies from the University of Puerto Rico in Arecibo. After self-publishing his first popular science book (an in-depth study of the intellectual capacity of the ancient Indo-Antilleans), Pérez Reyes participated in a scientific expedition to date Indo-Antillean rock art, led by the renowned archaeologist Dr. Reniel Rodríguez Ramos. Additionally, he designed the catalog "The Father Nazario Stone Collection," which showcases about 350 of the 800 pieces with unknown writing symbols, a project also directed by Rodríguez Ramos. Pérez Reyes is the creator and host of Canal Caníbal on YouTube, which promotes the excellence of the native Jíbaro Boricua culture.
