Uzbek Language Day at the International Library

On October 21, at the initiative of the head of the Sverdlovsk regional public organization of the Center for the Commonwealth of the Peoples of the Urals and Uzbekistan “Dustlik“ (“Friendship“) Turatov Abid Shakirovich, the Day of the Uzbek Language was held in the Interethnic Library.

On April 10, 2020, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the establishment of the Uzbek Language Holiday Day“ was adopted. According to this law, October 21 is widely celebrated every year as a holiday of the Uzbek language.

At the festival, one could listen to Uzbek songs, see national dances and taste Uzbek treats.
