A week-long internship “Folk School” for 12 participants from six Finno-Ugric regions of Russia has ended at the Kizhi Museum

The main purpose of the internship is the opportunity to present your own projects and ideas aimed at involving young people in the development of the FinnoUgric world.

Folk School fully justified its name: the participants got acquainted with the expositions of the openair museum, participated in master classes under the guidance of museum staff, performed creative tasks every evening and shared their knowledge, thoughts and the most daring ideas.

At the end of the internship, three new project ideas for the development of the Veps sector on Kizhi Island were presented.

The head of the internship was Anna Ankhimova veps, a specialist of the Kizhi Museum, a member of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Karelia, a member of the Presidium of the Association of FinnoUgric Peoples of the Russian Federation.
