Festival of National Cultures “Legends of the native land”

In 2022, residents of Omsk and guests of the city were introduced to the legends of different peoples living in the Omsk region – this became the main theme of the holiday of national cultures. 26 national centers showed Omsk residents the customs of their people, told about national crafts, applied creativity
and demonstrated national costumes.
There were three thematic venues: exhibitions, a concert program and national cuisines. Guests and participants of the holiday were able to taste dishes of national cuisines of different countries, and the chefs told
about the traditions of their preparation and share recipes. In addition, everyone will be able to visit interactive programs and exhibitions of folk art and crafts.
The main action of the holiday took place on the central stage. Here the creative collectives of the city and the active national centers presented to the attention of Omsk residents and guests of the city a colorful concert program, introduced them to national legends.
