A series of outdoor events held within the framework of the “Sparks of the Hearth” festival ended at the fishing grounds of Nado-Marra, Sankov-Marra and Nyamgudoche, Tazovsky district. The concert program was full of legends, tales, and epic stories of syudbabts and yarabts telling about the life of indigenous peoples and performed by the folklore authors from the villages of Hyda, Antipayuta and Tazovsky.

A presentation of a new book by a talented Yamal writer, storyteller, craftswoman, singer and artist Nadezhda Salinder became the highlight of the festival. “The Spiritual World of a Nomad” gives the readers an opportunity to look into the world of nomads and get acquainted with the spiritual culture of the Nenets. At the end of the meeting, the participants received copies of the book.
